Medical Info/Devices
Many medical systems (911 call center data, on-scene reports, patient records, patient monitor data, etc.) are able to electronically transfer data to Trauma Registry Software. Trauma Registry Software
Local hospitals can choose to use any NTDS-Compliant Software according to their needs. The compliant software can export data using the XML standard to a single state database. State Database
States can transfer trauma registry data back and forth between hospitals and to the National Trauma Data Bank using XML. National Trauma Data Bank
The "National Trauma Registry Elements" will be uploaded to the National Trauma Data Bank using XML. Other State Datasets
Additional State datasets will be able to transfer data to and from the National Trauma Data Bank using XML.
