Definition
The date the unit transporting to your hospital left the scene (the time
the vehicle started moving).
- For inter facility transfer patients, this is the date on which the unit
transporting the patient to your facility from the transferring facility
departed from the transferring facility (departure is defined at date/time
when the vehicle started moving).
- For patients transported from the scene of injury to your hospital, this is the date on which the unit transporting the patient to your facility from the scene departed from the scene (arrival is defined at date/time when the vehicle started moving).

- Collected as YYYY-MM-DD
- Used to auto-generate an additional calculated field: Total EMS Scene Time (elapsed time from EMS scene arrival to scene departure).
